United Croquet Club 
Thanks United and Jenny in particular for an enjoyable 1 day (10 – 3ish) GC tournament. Level tournament, eight people from noughts to 9 and 10 but flexible Swiss made for range of opponents and exciting games. No shame or pain being on the end of a 7-0 hiding when I just lose 1 point from my index! And tough opponents the 9 and 10 (I’m a “slightly” rough 4 at present). GC is like that — I’m mostly AC but I like the slight randomness/luck that can throw up upsets even when no extra turns are involved. I hope there can be more of these 1 dayers if energy and resources and weather permit!
