The Macrobertson Shield competition is named after the Australian confectionery maker and philanthropist, Sir Macpherson Robertson in the early 1920s. Initially between Australia and England, New Zealand was invited in 1930 and USA in 1993.
We don’t have any photos of the 2000 series apart from a few that appeared in articles in the Christchurch newspaper, The Press.

If you have any photos from the series, please let us know. The World Croquet Federation website also does not have any photo and would like to receive some.
