Note that it is encouraged that an experienced player partners with an inexperienced player – a great introduction for newer members to competition play!
Entries close 24 December so let Lena know sooner rather than later if you’d like to enter.
Current Advantage format to be used;
Untimed doubles games; The combined handicap of teams is 12+ . This can be any combination of handicaps, but it is preferable that an experienced player partners with an inexperienced player.
Games will START at 8:30AM – arrive at 8am to complete paperwork etc and sort starting scores.
These dates are already scheduled–
Saturday 31 January (AC Grades), 7th February (Waitangi weekend) and 7th March (AC Handicap Singles) so a decision whether there will be play on those dates will be made once entries are received:
Number of entries to be divisible by 4 (12, 16, 20, 24 etc)
This allows for 3 games per Saturday. Entries taken in the order they are received and may be limited.

Entries may be limited due to the number of lawns available. When this occurs, entries received prior to the allocation date will be accepted with priority being given to the highest ranked players registered. Conditions
1. Doubles (event 3) will be played Wednesday and Thursday. Singles (events 1 and 2) will be played Friday to Sunday.
2. Entries will be limited, if necessary, to ensure a workable format or if the number of players per available lawn is exceeded.
3. Method of play in all events, to be approved by the CNZ Tournament Committee, will be decided after entries have been received.
4. Refer to Tournament Regulations Appendix 5 for Tier 1 playing conditions & hoop dimensions.
5. The CNZ Tournament Committee has discretion to adjust the hoop dimensions for any of the events.
